Discover passion at the Wyland
Valentine's Day might have passed, but the Wyland Waikiki is putting the "hot" back into "hotel" with its new "Feel the Passion" romance package available through Dec. 31.
The package, with rates starting at $259 per night, is based on a three-night minimum stay.
This includes a complimentary upgrade to a one-bedroom suite, fresh flower lei for each guest and a "Passion Pack" featuring chocolate-dipped tropical fruit, champagne with custom-designed Wyland insignia flutes, passion fruit-mango massage oil and more. Round-trip transportation from the airport in a private sedan is optional.
The boutique hotel, at 400 Royal Hawaiian Ave., is Honolulu's newest address for those seeking a hip hotel. Amenities include the Wy-bar and lounge, a day spa, fitness center, library, entertainment room equipped with iJoy massage chairs, a 65-inch flat panel TV and Xbox gaming stations, a business center with 24-inch iMac computers and free high-speed Internet.

Sweet suite deal at Waikoloa
ResortQuest Shores at Waikoloa and Waikoloa Colony Villas are extending their "Kamaaina Sweet Suite Golf for Two" package to Dec. 23.
The package includes one Aloha Book (per room) filled with discount offers, plus two rounds of 18-hole golf at Waikoloa Resort's Beach or Kings Course.
Units in the Waikoloa Beach Resort condominium community are set amidst tropical gardens, with gourmet kitchens and private lanais. Rates start at $268 per night for a deluxe one-bedroom at ResortQuest Shores at Waikoloa, and $295 per night for a one-bedroom villa at the Waikoloa Colony Villas. The cost does not include resort fee or room taxes, and is subject to change. The package cannot be combined with other programs, specials or discounts. Hawaii resident ID is required upon check-in. Brewers Festival tickets on sale
Tickets are on sale for the 13th Kona Brewers Festival, taking place March 8 on the Big Island.
The event will feature more than 60 types of ales and lagers with cuisine from 25 Hawaii chefs, served on the shore of Kailua Bay at King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel, Kailua-Kona, from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Tickets, at $50, are available in advance only. The price includes a commemorative mug, eight 4-ounce brew tasting coupons, gourmet cuisine sampling and entertainment.
