UH Lab School students Jackie Guira, right, 17, and Zach Louis, 17, played their violins with other musicians gathered on the lawn in front of the Blaisdell Concert Hall yesterday. Hundreds of classical musicians of all ages gathered to show support for the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra by playing their instruments, holding signs and waving to drivers passing by on South King Street. The rally was organized by the Hawaii Youth Symphony to raise awareness, funds and support for the orchestra.
