Punahou, Iolani in playoff

Last night's victory by Punahou over Maryknoll forces a playoff game for the Interscholastic League of Honolulu boys basketball championship.

The Buffanblu will play Iolani tomorrow night at 8 at Blaisdell Arena. The winner gets the ILH's seeded berth in the upcoming state championship.

The ILH's single-elimination tournament for third place starts tomorrow with the 5 p.m. game between Maryknoll and Damien at Blaisdell.

The tournament continues Tuesday with Kamehameha facing the Maryknoll-Damien winner at 5:30 p.m., followed by Saint Louis against Mid-Pacific at 7:30 p.m.

Tonight at Blaisdell, Kamehameha faces Iolani for the ILH's second berth in the Division I girls tournament. Game time is 7:30.
