Owsley expected to miss Rainbows’ trip to Nevada
Hawaii forward P.J. Owsley likely won't accompany the Rainbow Warriors tomorrow when they embark on their road trip to Nevada.
UH's nationally televised game against the Wolf Pack on Saturday in Reno will be the second the UH senior has missed since injuring his right knee in the second half of last Thursday's game against New Mexico State.
"His tests were good but he's still sore from the injury so we're probably give him more rest to get ready for Utah State (next week)," UH coach Bob Nash said. "We have nine healthy bodies so we'll go with those nine."
Bill Amis, averaging 7.3 points and 4.2 rebounds per game, is expected to get his second straight start.
