UH's Wichmann athlete of the week
Annett Wichmann was named the Western Athletic Conference women's indoor track and field athlete of the week for Jan. 23 to Feb. 3.
Wichmann won the Washington Invitational pentathlon with 4,027 points, leading the WAC and placing fifth in the nation. Up next for Wichmann and the Rainbow Wahine is the Sunset Meet on Saturday at Cooke Field.
Stadium readies for Pro Bowl traffic
For the 11:30 a.m. Pro Bowl on Sunday, all parking gates at Aloha Stadium, including auxiliary sites at Ford Island and Radford High School, open at 7 a.m.
At Radford High School the parking is $5, with no shuttle service to the stadium. Ford Island parking and shuttle service is free.
The stadium has set up a hotline for guests to report unruly behavior at 483-2807.
Tickets on sale for Fields Open
Tickets for the LPGA Fields Open golf tournament are on sale at Pro Am Golf Shop, Roger Dunn Golf Shop and Ko Olina Golf Club.
Free parking is available at Ko Olina Resort and gates open at 7 a.m. throughout the tournament, which runs Feb. 20-23.

Kolaric is PacWest player of week
Marko Kolaric was named the PacWest Player of the Week yesterday in basketball.
Kolaric averaged a double-double in two games last week against Hawaii Pacific (14.5 boards per game, 13 ppg).
