OIA soccer: Favorites continue on

There were no upsets in the Oahu Interscholastic Association girls soccer playoffs yesterday.
Tani Costa scored a pair of goals and Kalani beat Aiea 2-0 to advanced to the semifinals of the OIA Red girls soccer tournament last night at Mililani.
Kalani, the top seed from the East, will take on Mililani at Kailua tomorrow at 7 p.m. Mililani beat Moanalua 2-0.
Kaiser and Pearl City advanced on the other side of the bracket, with the Cougars beating Kapolei 1-0 on Rachel Tomita's goal, and the Chargers stopping Kahuku 3-1.
Pearl City and Kaiser meet at 5:15 p.m. tomorrow at Kailua.
Campbell, Kaimuki, Waialua and Roosevelt advanced to the second round of the OIA White girls tournament.
The top six teams in the Red division and the top four in the White division get spots in the state tournament.
