Vulcans coach Inouye steps down
Gordon Inouye has left his position as men's soccer coach at Hawaii-Hilo to become a volunteer special assistant to UHH athletic director Kathleen McNally, the school announced yesterday.
"Gordon will focus on developing our soccer field as well as other community-based initiatives," McNally said.
Inouye helped build both the men's and women's teams from scratch for their inaugural Pacific West Conference seasons in 2006, serving as the Vulcans' director of soccer operations and primarily coaching the men's team.
