MAC 24-7 marks birthday of the King
MAC 24-7 celebrates Elvis Presley's birthday Tuesday with a 24-hour celebration featuring the music of the King and the showing of his Hawaii-themed movies and Hawaii concerts.
While surrounded by so much Elvis, diners can opt to try one of the restaurant's signature dishes, Elvis Pancakes -- buttermilk pancakes with peanut butter. Any single diner who finishes one full order gets them for free.
The celebration begins at 1:35 a.m. (Elvis was born at 4:45 a.m. Central time). MAC 24-7 is in the Hilton Waikiki Prince Kuhio, 2500 Kuhio Ave.
Presley would have been 73 years old on Tuesday.
