Albert Kamakaala, 85, of Kaaawa, an Army veteran, retired city heavy equipment operator and Kahuku High School football team equipment manager, died. He was born in Pearl City. He is survived by wife Amy; sons William Kama and Thad, Vann, Alyn, Furl, Dain and Thord Kamakaala; daughter Aley K. Rubelsky; hanai sons Raybert and Thoran Evans, and Reuben Chong; 22 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
