VISITOR WELCOMED WITH PERFECT PARTY: Selim Zilkha, second from left, was the guest of honor at a festive reception for 150 hosted by Princess Dialta Alliata di Montereale, left, and her husband, Prince Vittorio, last Thursday at their Honolulu residence. Guests enjoyed an R&B oldies show by Tradewinds, a jungle-themed performance on the lawn by 24/VII and an inexhaustible gourmet buffet before Dialta had everyone line up on the lanai, make a wish and break a plate for good luck in 2008. Mary Hayley, fourth from left, and Nadia Wellisz, Zilkha's daughter, joined their hosts at a table in the living room.

Championship bodybuilder and personal trainer Chris Faildo, left, attended the party with Phoenix Banuelos and Phoenix's mother, personal trainer Debbie Bullman of ABS' Solute Results. Dialta had planned the event as a lawn party, but after looking at the sky earlier that day, she had everything moved inside or put under tents without missing a beat.

Candes Meijide Gentry partied near the main bar with Nelson Deeds, left, producer/director Bryan Singer, Mark Berliner, Mike Sullivan and Dan Studney. Singer was enjoying some time off from his shooting his current film, "Valkyrie," a historical thriller about a plot by German army officers to overthrow the Hitler regime during World War II.
