TO YOUR HEALTH
Great Aloha Run workshops begin
Want to do the Great Aloha Run and finish in style? Sign up for the "In-Training" Workshops being held each Sunday until race day.
The workshops will help you get fit, teach you how to train injury-free, guide you on proper nutrition and basically get you ready for anything and everything the race involves -- even the best way to get to and from the race and where to park.
And here's the best part, it's free to everyone who signs up to do the 2008 Hawaiian Telcom Great Aloha Run.
Training groups will be divided according to skill and fitness level, from runners to joggers to run-walkers to walkers. In each session you'll warm up, train, stretch, cool down and have your questions answered.
The sessions begin at 7:20 a.m. tomorrow at Kapiolani Park Bandstand.
For information on the "In-Training" Workshops, call Dr. Christiane W. Christ at 943-0309. For all other inquiries, please call the Great Aloha Run office at 528-7388 or visit www.greataloharun.com.
