Summer Vaimaona asked her "Aunty Cha" to take part. Soleil will be the retailer for Mena in Hawaii. Cha's son,
Afatia, sang at the event. Other models included
Raiatea Helm, Liana Green, and former Miss Hawaii
Pilialoha Gaison and her boyfriend,
Kalai Miller. Pilialoha and Kalai finished the show in Mena's white wedding fashions. That got people talking, but the couple denied any wedding plans. However, Kalai said, "We do look good in white together." About 250 people turned out for the fashion show and to view a screening of "Samoan Wedding." The

Call it a never-say-die attitude, believing in themselves, pride, character, a winning desire or just plain guts, the UH football team has it. Coach June Jones and his staff, quarterback Colt Brennan -- who deserves the Heisman -- the outstanding receivers and everyone involved with the team right down to the equipment manager deserve all the praise that has been given to them for their glorious undefeated season. And how about the football fever that gripped the state leading up to Saturday's game? It continued even after the victory as fans awaited news of the Sugar Bowl invite. Louis Vuitton Ala Moana displayed a glittering diamond encrusted men's wristwatch at the store's holiday party Friday. It was an eye-catcher. Some 200 guests sipped champagne and snacked on tasty creations from Current Affairs during the evening. Many guests walked out with big L.V. bags containing purchases. That made store director Donna Barnett smile. As for the fancy diamond watch, ready-to-wear manager Elaine Tsui said, "It's you, Ben, it's you." But I'm sure she says that to all the guys ...
