Kona Village’s Ribcraft is perfect for ocean fun
A new Ribcraft (Rigid Inflatable Boat) awaits guests looking for an ocean adventure at Kona Village Resort on Hawaii's Big Island.
The 27-foot vessel was custom-made for Kona Village, and the boat includes seating for more than 20, providing access to nearly two dozen nearby dive sites, offshore snorkeling excursions, sunset cruising and seasonal humpback whale watching treks.
Ladders allow easy access in and out of the ocean, and on-board freshwater showers add to guest comfort. The boat has been named Wiwo'ole, meaning "adventurous."
Kona Village was once the site of an ancient Hawaiian fishing village and occupies 82 private oceanfront acres along the Big Island's Kohala Coast. It is home to 125 thatched-roof bungalows fronting the marine preserve of Kahuwai Bay. For Kona Village Resort reservations, visit www.KonaVillage.com or call toll-free (800) 367-5290.
