» A photo of Big Isle attorney Ted H.S. Hong was mistakenly identified as Bob Awana, Gov. Linda Lingle's former chief of staff, in a Page A4 story in yesterday's early edition. Hong, a former state chief labor negotiator, is unrelated to the case in which Awana was the victim of blackmail. Awana's correct photo is at right.
» Tests are pending to determine what sickened passengers and crew members during two Holland America Line ocean cruises this month. Also, the 24 people who fell ill during the ship's current voyage does not meet the threshold for an outbreak, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. A Page A3 article yesterday incorrectly reported that norovirus sickened people in both trips and that there had been an outbreak in the current trip.
» One of two women who died in December at Opaekaa Falls on Kauai was a native of Colombia. The other woman was from California. A story on Page A4 in some of yesterday's editions incorrectly said both women were Californians.
