Summer Jensen holds belated wedding reception

The glasses Summer Jensen and Paulo Fagundez used to drink the toast at their wedding reception at the Halekulani Saturday were the same glasses that her parents, Judy and the late entertainer Dick Jensen, used for their wedding toast. Summer and Paulo were married earlier this year in Las Vegas, but wanted to have a reception here with family and friends. Summer's godfather, Tom Moffatt, was emcee for the toast. Tom's wife of 47 years, Sweetie, and Judy's friend, Yvonne Bryan, are Summer's godmothers. Unusual, but that's what Judy and Dick wanted. Judy flew in from Arizona for the Lewers Lounge reception and greeted guests with her son, Brandon. Paulo's mom, Ingrid, came in from Sweden to represent her family. The Fagundez siblings are swimmers. Paulo was a standout and his sister, Gabriella, recently qualified for Sweden's Olympic team. An older sister is Christina Kjellander. Summer is a designer with Dodd Mitchell Design in L.A. and used to be a dancer here in the Kon Tiki cast. Kon Tiki show founder Lloyd Kandell was at the reception with wife Sherri ...

Kauila Barber, a photographer, makeup man and hair stylist, took pictures at the party. That's his pic of Summer with this column. Years ago he did the late singer Loyal Garner's makeup and hair. Kauila now lives in L.A. He spent the summer in Sofia, Bulgaria, with Hawaii's Kelly Hu, doing her hair and makeup, for a film called "The Tournament" ...

Dermatologist Norm Goldstein has closed his office in Chinatown. The doc is now at Honolulu Medical Group ... Richard Chamberlain, who has a home here, was on "Desperate Housewives" Sunday portraying the ex-stepfather of Felicity Huffman's Lynette character.
