Miho Museum talk scheduled
Chris Christensen will be giving a free talk on "Japan's Miho Museum" at 6 p.m. Nov. 29 in the Liliha Public Library, 1515 Liliha St.
The museum was designed by Chinese-American architect I.M. Pei and is regarded as one of the most important and innovative buildings of the 20th century.
A video history by Peter Rosen will also be shown, documenting the difficulties encountered during six years of the seven-year construction project within a nature preserve about 20 miles from Kyoto.
