Bong Heon Lee tried out a kid-sized violin with the help of Jon Magnussen, education director for the Honolulu Symphony. The symphony and Honolulu Academy of Arts combined forces Wednesday to present music and visual art to 80 kindergartners from Queen Kaahumanu Elementary School. The symphony's string quartet members performed works by composers from different historical periods, and docents from the Academy of Arts led students on a tour of galleries.
