BeachBoys rally twice to beat Honu
The Waikiki BeachBoys overcame three-run deficits twice in the last two innings for a stunning 7-6 win over the North Shore Honu at Hans L'Orange Park. Both teams are 6-3.
Waikiki overcame a 3-0 deficit in the eighth with a rally capped by Michael McKenry's two-RBI double.
After North Shore struck for three runs in the bottom of the eighth, Emmanuel Garcia and Matt Inouye opened the ninth with back-to-back doubles that pulled the BeachBoys within two. Jeff Kindel followed a few batters later with a three-run homer.

Hawaii Pacific hits the road, loses 5-0
Hawaii Pacific's women's soccer team visited Dixie College in St. George, Utah, yesterday for the Lady Sea Warriors' first game off Oahu, a 5-0 loss to the Lady Rebels that dropped HPU to 2-8, 1-3 in the PacWest. Dixie is 9-3-1, 3-1-1.
» Hawaii-Hilo's women's soccer team earned a 2-0 win over Notre Dame de Namur in Belmont, Calif., yesterday.
The Vulcans were outshot 9-3 in a scoreless first half, but coach Travis Clarke shifted his lineup to add athleticism and UHH scored twice in the second half. Jessica Carmona scored in the 69th minute off a corner kick by Megan Pachecano, who added insurance in the 90th minute with a rebound off her own stopped shot during a one-on-one with goalie Allie Howarth.
» The UH Hilo men's soccer team fell 4-0 to Notre Dame de Namur in a physical game in Belmont, Calif. Each team was called for 24 fouls, and a total of seven yellow cards were issued.
» UH Hilo won a four-team men's golf tournament on Turtle Bay's Fazio Course yesterday with a 301 total. BYU Hawaii finished four strokes back, followed by HPU (311) and Chaminade (331).
