Hawaii surfers advance in France

Andy Irons, Bruce Irons, Pancho Sullivan and Fred Patacchia all advanced to the second round by placing either second or third in their three-man heats yesterday in solid 6-foot waves in the Quiksilver Pro France at La Graviere.

The contest is an ASP World Championship Tour event.
