Mililani High School's annual homecoming parade yesterday featured more than 800 marchers, five vehicles, four floats and a band in a route that started at the Mililani Town Center and ended at the school's stadium. Homecoming king Jason Kaga, left, and queen Heather Omori were followed by the senior class in the parade.

Celebrating National Park(ing) Day yesterday was Stanley Tibayan, on guitar, with friends, Mark Lutwak and Kevin Chang. The parking space at 212 Merchant St. was turned into a "park" with rolls of grass, potted plants, a beach umbrella, chairs and musicians.
