The theme of this month's Honolulu Academy of Arts Bank of Hawaii Sunday was "Minuscule" -- a celebration of the small things in life. Alexis Morikawa, 4, worked on making a miniature paper jack-in-the-box yesterday in the Banyan Court of the academy.

The hands of drummer Denver McKeague, 10, were a blur as he played with his band Typical Youth, which is made up of a group of brothers, sisters and cousins. Behind him is his cousin Shilo Salgado, 14, on bass. They performed in the academy's Central Court.
