Abe on his way to Florida
Oahu Country Club's Shane Abe shot a final-round 71 to win the PGA Assistant Professional Championship at Ko Olina yesterday.
Then the drama began.
Abe earned a spot in the national tournament in Florida at the end of October. But three players -- Scott Carroll, Jay Taise and Alva Wendland -- tied for second and were forced into a playoff to see who would receive the second invitation.
Mauna Kea's Taise parred the playoff hole to earn the invitation, while Wendland scored a bogey and Carroll doubled.

Against Seton Hall, Lee had 17 kills and three blocks.
