Hotel gives local rate to Garden Party guests

Resort Quest at the Executive Centre Hotel is making kamaaina rate rooms available next Sunday as a perfect pre- and post-party accommodation for attendees of the Iolani Palace Royal Garden Party, starting at 5:30 p.m. next Sunday. The hotel is within walking distance of the palace.

A city-mountain-view room is available for $99; a one-bedroom suite, for $129. Rates are valid Friday through next Sunday. Reserve by calling (800) 949-3932 or e-mail info@resortquesthawaii.com and ask for "kamaaina rates."

The Garden Party is one of the most popular Iolani Palace fundraisers. Guests often dress for the occasion in traditional turn-of-the-century gowns and feathered hats, and will find the Executive Centre a perfect pre-event staging area for putting the final touches on one's ensemble.
