Seasiders sting Warriors
Noelle Filimoeatu had 22 kills in 86 swings as Brigham Young-Hawaii beat Cal State Stanislaus 30-19, 30-27, 20-30, 33-35, 15-11 in a PacWest volleyball match last night in Laie.
LeeAnn Mapu dished out 59 assists for the Seasiders, who improved to 4-3. The Warriors dropped to 3-4.

The Silverswords improved to 6-1 while the Wildcats dropped to 1-7.
Whitford, Harper win in Alaska
Brigham Young-Hawaii runner Amanda Whitford won the Alaska Nanook Invitational cross country race yesterday at Fairbanks, Alaska.
Whitford ran the 4-kilometer course in 14 minutes, 12 seconds. Her effort led the Seasiders over Hawaii Pacific in the dual meet portion of the competition.
Golden Harper won the men's race for BYUH, which beat Alaska-Fairbanks by a point but lost to Hawaii Pacific by seven points.
