4 join Japanese Cultural Center board
Three new members have been elected to the board of directors of the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii for 2007-2008, including
Eric K. Martinson as chairman.
Susan Eichor, Gordon Kagawa and Curt Otaguro joined the JCCH as at-large members.
Eichor is president and chief operating officer of aio Group, a diversified Hawaii company that includes Honolulu Magazine, Hawaii Business Magazine and ESPN 1420 AM.
Kagawa is president and chief executive officer of Occidental Underwriters of Hawaii, an insurance company that has been a corporate sponsor of the JCCH.
Otaguro is senior vice president of First Hawaiian Bank.
Hawaii Women Lawyers has installed Lauren R. Sharkey of Case Lombardi & Pettit as president; Emi L.M. Kaimuloa of Watanabe Ing & Komeiji, vice-president/president elect; Shellie Park-Hoapili of Alston Hunt Floyd & Ing, secretary; Zale T. Okazaki of Ayabe Chong Nishimoto Sia & Nakamura, treasurer; and Lynne Jenkins McGivern of Ashford & Wriston LLP, immediate past president.
