Bounty hunter's book has No. 1 ranking in custody
Duane "Dog" Chapman's autobiography, "You Can Run but You Can't Hide," has hit the No. 1 position on the New York Times best-seller list.
The Hawaii-based bounty hunter, star of the A&E network television show "Dog the Bounty Hunter," talks about his professional adventures, as well own past problems with the law and substance abuse.
The book, published by Hyperion and co-written by Laura Morton, displaces "It's All About Him," by Denise Jackson, wife of country singer Alan Jackson. That autobiography is now No. 4.
Chapman will sign his book at Borders Books & Music stores at 7 p.m. Aug. 30 in Waikele and 7 p.m. Aug. 31 at Windward Mall.
