» With his team down 9-8 in the sixth inning, Matt Inouye (Mid-Pacific, Hawaii) hit a grand slam that propelled Great Falls to a 19-9 victory over the Helena Brewers.
» Keoni Ruth (Kamehameha) was demoted Wednesday from High A Lake Elsinore to Short-season A Eugene. The next night Ruth hit his first home run for the Emeralds.
» Brandon Villafuerte (Big Island native) made is 500th minor league pitching appearance on Tuesday. The milestone fell on the fifth anniversary of his only major league victory, which came with the San Diego Padres in relief at Wrigley Field against the Chicago Cubs in 2002.
