Wie finally breaks par

EVIAN-LES-BAINS, Franc » Honolulu's Michelle Wie was at even-par 144 when teeing off in today's third round of the Evian Masters.

The 17-year-old Punahou graduate easily made the cut -- the second time this year -- by shooting a 1-under 71. It was the first time Wie had broken par since last year's final round at this event, a streak that reached 24 straight before yesterday.

Wie was tied for 28th, seven shots off the pace.
