Steak 'n' more
Ruth's Chris Steak House restaurants have introduced a three-course "Sizzlin' Prime Time Dinner" menu.
For a set price of $39.95, diners have a first-course choice of Caesar, Steak House or spinach salad; entree choice of petite filet, 12-ounce rib eye, fish special, veal chop or broiled chicken breast; and dessert of ice cream, sorbet or bread pudding.
Oahu restaurants are in Restaurant Row and Waikiki Beach Walk; neighbor island locations are in Lahaina and the Shops at Wailea on Maui and the Shops at Mauna Lani on the Big Island.
Pasta buffet
The Alana Bistro at Doubletree Alana Hotel has introduced a made-to-order pasta buffet on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
If that sounds like a contradiction in terms, here's the idea: Diners choose from more than 25 ingredients on a buffet that are then cooked up on the spot.
Cost is $13.95 and $8.95 children -- and includes garlic bread and green salad.
Call 951-3138.
