Top Asian-American comics on tap at Hawaii Theatre
NONE OF them is actually named Kim, but four of the funniest Asian-American comedians on the stand-up circuit arrive in the islands this week.
Bobby Lee and Dr. Ken are probably the best known of the four, with Lee holding down a cast member position on "Mad TV" and co-starring roles in movies like "Kickin' it Old School" and "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle." Dr. Ken has appeared on TV shows "The Office," "Entourage" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm," along with a role in the comedy flick "Knocked Up."
Steve Byrne and Kevin Shea aren't necessarily rookies, either. Byrne has appeared on "The Real Wedding Crashers," while Shea has performed on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and "Comedy Central's Premium Blend."

With the victory, Krystilez is now eligible for the "Scribble Jam" finals next month in Cincinnati. He'll face off against the nation's top lyricists for a $5,000 first prize.
Unfortunately, air fare and hotel accommodations weren't included with the invitation to the finals. Maybe he could set up a Huli Huli chicken sale, or start hustling some Zippy's chili tickets. I know I'd buy one to help support ...
