Irons loses at Jeffreys Bay

Bruce Irons was eliminated from the Billabong Pro Jeffreys Bay yesterday, losing to Adriano de Souza of Brazil in the third round of the ASP event in South Africa.

De Souza edged Irons 15.00-13.66 to reach the fourth round. The last two third-round heats were completed yesterday before the competition was called off for the day.

Tsukada wins Waialae Invitational

Kathy Tsukada shot a 78 yesterday and finished with a two-round total of 152 to win the Waialae Women's Invitational.

Lily Yao won the championship flight in the low-gross division with a total of 158.
