Wilson shot a 6-over-par 77 before withdrawing, closing his round with a double bogey on the par-4 18th hole. He had one birdie, on the par-4 sixth.
Michelle Wie had played in the tournament the previous two years and was initially entered in this week's event, but pulled out last month due to wrist injuries. She withdrew from last year's tournament after succumbing to heat exhaustion during the second round.
Punahou graduate Parker McLachlin enters today's second round tied for 95th place after shooting a 1-over 72, eight shots behind first-round leader Neal Lancaster.
