U.S. Juniors sweep Russia
The U.S. Men's Junior National Volleyball Team, with two players from Hawaii, swept defending world champion Russia yesterday the FIVB Men's Junior World Championship in Rabat, Morocco.
Kawika Shoji (Iolani '06) started at libero for the U.S. (2-0 in pool play) and Spencer McLachlin (Punahou '07) contributed off the bench in the 28-26, 25-22, 29-27 win.
