Honolulu Hale exhibits artwork
More than 115 pieces of artwork, the creative efforts of 75 city employees and their families, are on display at Honolulu Hale through July 12 in the National Arts Program Annual Exhibit.
The show also is an art contest for amateurs, professionals and children. Bryson Espression of Mililani is the grand-prize winner. His drawing "The Morning Journey" earned him a $300 prize. Professional artists served as judges.
The second annual exhibit is co-sponsored by the National Arts Program of Honolulu and the Mayor's Office of Culture and the Arts. The national foundation sponsors 78 annual programs in more than 400 cities and counties.
Participants include municipal and county employees and their families.
