Friday: "Ignite 2007"

Christian Endeavor Hawaii presents a night of live music suitable for the entire family during "Ignite 2007" at Bishop Museum.

Gates open at 4:30 p.m. Saturday; Hawaii's own Olivia the Band will perform with Seventh Day Slumber, Zeo and Arkeo starting at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 at the door, with $9 presale tickets still available at Logos Bookstore and Hawaii Music Supply.

Wednesday: "Cream"

Veteran DJ/promoter James Coles expands his involvement at Lily Koi Restaurant and Lounge with a new weekly party, "Cream," making its debut on Wednesday.

Coles' United DJs crew will be joined by DJs Montez Brown, Chris Rox, 720 and Peter Lau, with Power 104.3's Micah Banks splitting hosting duties with Marcus D. Doors open at 10 p.m. for the 18-and-over crowd; a portion of the $10 cover will benefit Coles' nonprofit organization Musical Youth of Hawaii.
