Libraries share literary events for summer
Hawaii's public libraries are bringing in some literary star power to help kids keep their brains engaged through the summer months.
Here are some of the major appearances scheduled. Check with individual libraries for more events all summer long or visit www.librarieshawaii.org.
All presentations are free and suited to ages 5 and up unless otherwise noted.
STORYTELLER VICKY DWORKIN
Dworkin is children's librarian for the Hawaii State Library and founder of Moonlight Storytellers. She uses puppets or other visual aids in "Stories to Solve: Puzzle and Riddle Stories from Around the World":
