Rabbi Stephan F. Barack of Honolulu died Tuesday in the Queen's Medical Center.
Barack, 64, was a founder and leader of Temple Bet Shalom, a Reform Jewish congregation, and formerly rabbi at Temple Emanu-El.
He was born in St. Louis. He graduated from Washington University and earned a master's degree at Hebrew Union College.
He is survived by his wife Renee J., daughters Jennifer L. and Deborah E., brother Dr. Bruce Barack and sister Cheryl Gouger.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. tomorrow at 322 Anapalu St. in Hawaii Kai.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Temple Bet Shalom, 322 Anapalu St., Honolulu 96825.
