No more cash on some Aloha flights
Aloha Airlines has gone cashless and will accept credit cards only for all purchases made on its flights between Hawaii and the continental United States.
Travelers can use a MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express credit card to purchase alcoholic beverages or in-flight movie entertainment.
Aloha operates daily trans-Pacific service between Hawaii and Oakland, Orange County, Sacramento and San Diego, Calif. Aloha also provides connecting service between the islands and Reno and Las Vegas, Nev.
Aqua Hotels offers new amenities
Aqua Hotels & Resorts is adding to their list of complimentary lifestyle amenities available to guests staying at its Waikiki hotels.

Water-themed amenities, including notepads, pens and fish-shaped information cards are available at all Aqua Hotels' Waikiki properties.

According to Beth Churchill, Aqua's VP of marketing and guest services, "Today's avid travelers are tired of paying exorbitant fees for amenities they feel should be part of their daily hotel rate.
"Based on this, our stylish and exciting Aqua Boutique Collection has everything the smart traveler wants, including an extensive list of complimentary services and lifestyle amenities, without the luxury price tag."
In addition to such complimentary guest services and amenities as daily local newspaper, coffee and tea service in the lobby, weekly manager's reception and signature macadamia nut and coconut cookies upon departure, recent additions include complimentary local and toll-free phone calls, Hawaiian artesian bottled water on arrival, complimentary apples at the front desk, custom bath amenities (noni/papaya/pineapple shampoo, conditioner, body scrub, body lotion, hand and bath soap), a complete collection of new collateral materials including key cards, key card packets, note pads, pens and Aqua's signature "Fish" filled with information for guests, and signature cocktail, the Bamboozle, offered at the weekly manager's reception.
The complimentary amenities are available to guests of the Aqua Boutique Collection: Aqua Aloha Surf, Aqua Bamboo & Spa, Aqua Palms & Spa, Aqua Waikiki Wave and the Equus, plus at the Aqua Lite hotels.

Hotel Hana-Maui a summer escape
The venerable Hotel Hana-Maui and Honua Spa has announced a new Summer Escape Special with savings from $120 to $170 per night through Aug. 21, and including daily breakfast.
The new Summer Escape features the two most popular room categories: Bay Cottage Jr. Suite and Ocean View Sea Ranch Cottage. Junior Suites are $395 per night (regular rate is $475), and Ocean View Sea Ranch Cottages are $495 a night ($625 regular). The package includes breakfast for two in the hotel's Ka'uiki restaurant, overlooking Hana Bay. In addition, guests reserving a Bay Cottage Junior Suite through June 30 receive an upgrade to an Ocean View Sea Ranch Cottage at the time of booking, based on availability.
The Hotel Hana-Maui and Honua Spa experience starts with a flower lei and tropical fruit drink upon arrival, as well as a welcome fruit and snack basket in each room. Hotel guests are invited to enjoy any of the complimentary activities, including two pools and whirlpools, daily yoga, boogie boards, tennis and hiking.
