The Search for Signs of Hawaiian Life in the Universe
Michiko Griffith of Waikiki was walking along the Meguro River in Tokyo and found the M&L Hawaiian Eats cafe.
Former Star-Bulletin intern Jen Rulon of Kailua said she was shocked to see this sign in a village in Morocco. She wrote that Hawai is a popular tropical fruit juice available in Spain and Morocco.
Michael and Cathy Mochizuki of Aiea were in Kyoto, Japan, and found Kahala, a small women's clothing shop.
