Ma Ka Hana Ka 'Ike: Keiki Art Day, which featured hands-on arts activities including watercolors, lei making, weaving, featherwork, storytelling, hula performances and more, was held yesterday at the Hawaii State Art Museum. The Hawaiian Mission Academy Choir, directed by James Wood, sang "Take Time to Be Holy" yesterday evening during "Hymn Fest: Make a Joyful Noise" at Kawaiahao Church. The festival was co-sponsored by the Ministry of Music and Performing Arts of Kawaiahao Church and the Hawaiian Mission Academy and Elementary Schools, and featured various choirs, solo performances and dance.
