Cat's out on the 'Bachelor's' so-called bride
It's close-your-eyes time
More than a week before the show's finale, secrets have leaked about "The Bachelor: An Officer and a Gentleman," specifically which woman finally won Andy Baldwin's heart.
Tabloid publications and spoiler Web sites are reporting that the desirable U.S. Navy doctor, diver and triathlete has chosen Tessa Horst, a 26-year-old social worker from San Francisco, to be his bride.
Horst allegedly shared the news over drinks with an undercover reporter from the New York Post. Though Baldwin told the Star-Bulletin early on that he had found "true love" and was waiting anxiously for his betrothed to move to Hawaii after the show's end, Horst indicated in the Post article that she declined Baldwin's marriage proposal in favor of getting to know him better.
ABC would not confirm or deny the gossip.
Baldwin, however, has kept a tight rein on the proprietary information, according to local triathletes who chat with him at races. So the actual results of the marriage proposal remain to be seen.
"The Bachelor" began airing on April 2, and the finale is scheduled for May 21. Right now, Bevin Powers, 28, and Danielle Imwalle, 25, remain with Horst as finalists for Baldwin's affections. Monday's episode will feature the three women with Baldwin in Hawaii.
