"Ragtime": Set in New York at the beginning of the 20th century and based on the novel by E.L. Doctorow, this musical chronicles the journeys of Coalhouse Walker Jr., an immigrant entrepreneur, and an upper-class family from New Rochelle as their lives become irrevocably entangled. "Ragtime" was the winner of four Tony Awards in 1998, including Best Original Score and Best Book of a Musical. Produced by Stage Door Entertainment. Runs June 13-16, 20-23 and 27-30.
"110 in the Shade": Based on the musical version of "The Rainmaker," by N. Richard Nash, with music and lyrics by Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt, set in the Dust Bowl of 1933 in a small Southwestern town. The story focuses on Lizzie Curry, a spinster living on a ranch, and her relationships with local sheriff File, a cautious divorcé who fears being hurt again, and charismatic con man Bill Starbuck, posing as a rainmaker who promises the locals he can bring relief to the drought-stricken area. Runs July 11-14, 18-21 and 25-28.

"Jesus Christ Superstar": The first rock opera, created as a concept album at the end of the turbulent '60s, tells of Christ's final days dramatized with emotional intensity, thought-provoking edge and explosive theatrics, with the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber with lyrics by Tim Rice. Runs Aug. 8-11, 15-18 and 22-25.
"The Jazz Festival": Two evenings of extraordinary music presented by the Las Vegas Jazz Society. On Sept. 7, Jerry Lopez Santa Fe and the Fat City Horns perform everything from funk to swing to Latin. Then on Sept. 8, Walt Boenig's Big Band will delight the audience with classic standards and original compositions.
"Johnny Guitar": Based on the 1954 film, this musical presents a rousing original score with the sounds of 1950s lounge, western and rock 'n' roll. The setting is a small New Mexico mountain town, circa 1865. When a tall stranger, Johnny Guitar, with a secret past rolls in, the stage is set for a showdown unlike anything the Old West or Off-Broadway has ever seen. Runs Sept. 13-15 and 20-22.
