Hawaii visits Hilo for 3 games
The Hawaii baseball team puts a 10-game winning streak against in-state rival UH-Hilo on the line tonight when the teams open a three-game series at Wong Stadium in Hilo.
Left-hander Ian Harrington has moved back to the front of the rotation for the Rainbows (28-19) and is scheduled to face UH-Hilo's Joe Davis in the opener set for 6 p.m. Tomorrow's game starts at 3 p.m., with Matt Daly making only his fifth start of the season and facing Clayton Uyechi. Mark Rodrigues is slated to start Saturday's noon finale against Lars Knepper.
Both teams are looking to rebound following rough trips through the southwest last week. The Rainbows went 1-3 in visits to Arizona State and New Mexico State, which swept a two-game set with the Vulcans (12-32-1) prior to taking two more from the 'Bows. UH-Hilo then lost three straight against New Mexico before heading home to close the season.
