Buffs stay unbeaten by outlasting Warriors

John Worthington walked home the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning as No. 1 Punahou knocked off No. 9 Kamehameha 8-7 in a game continued from Wednesday that was suspended due to darkness.

Paul Snieder picked up the win and smacked two solo home runs for the Buffanblu, who remain undefeated on the season.

Parker McCready had three hits and scored twice to lead the Warriors.

Danny Higa belted a solo home run and Moses Samia drove in three runs as the Crusaders kept their season alive by defeating the Warriors.

John Worthington had two doubles and Parker McCready tripled for Kamehameha, which finished its season 7-8.

Hauoli Alcoran gave up one run in four innings and also drove in three runs to lead the Cowboys over the Cougars in a first-round playoff game.
