How to profit by using the Influence Code
I'VE got a secret to share -- how to influence everyone you meet online -- without ever meeting anyone face to face.
It's the Diamond Rule. Engage with people through participation, getting them to interact with you. Listen to what their needs, wants and desires are, instead of providing a one-size-fits-all.
Once your audience begins interacting with you, you will gain their trust, devotion and loyalty, leaving your competitors to wonder how you're able to attract so many raving fans so easily.
WHEN people contact you via e-mail or comments on your blog, this is one of the easiest ways to discover their unique Influence Code.
Look for the words they use, and the way they structure their communication so you can put the Diamond Rule to work.
» If they are direct, asking about results, they have the Driver Code. Reply in kind. Get to the point. Do not reply with lengthy paragraphs and stories. This will turn them off. They will shut you down quickly. Answer their questions directly. If they like what she hear, they will make an immediate decision to do business with you. They are all about results and efficiency. Don't waste their time, and they will become raving fans.
» If they are wordy, very friendly or uses lots of exclamation points after every sentence, then you're engaging with someone who has the Influencer Code.
Be friendly, personable, and engaging, focusing on how enjoyable it is to work with you. Don't get into a lot of details. Instead, provide a bulleted list of benefits for using your product. Having video on your Web site will keep them engaged.
Once they are sold on your product, they will influence their circles of friends, and be very convincing as to why they need to work with you. Influence the Influencer, and you'll open the flood gates of prosperity.
» If their communication is lengthy -- sharing their stories, seeking lots of information from you -- you're engaging with someone who has the Steady Code.
Be warm and conversational in your communication. A personal phone call will really impress them. Spend some time with them.
Interactive surveys or questions on your Web site will appeal to them. Provide lots of pictures of you, your company and smiling fans using your product.
» If their communication is precise -- asking for data, proof, and research to support your claims -- they have the Compliant Code.
Stick to the facts, and comply with the rules of your industry to impress him. Testimonials on your site with specific numbers for results is critical to breaking through their skeptical barriers.
Include a research report that they can download and read in detail before making their final decision to buy from you.
