Schofield Barracks soldier Sgt. Forrest "Dane" Cauthorn died April 5 in Hawijah when fighting enemy forces.
Cauthorn, 22, of Midlothian, Va., was the 16th Schofield soldier killed in Iraq since his brigade deployed there last summer. He was a part of the 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division.

"Dane lived and loved life to the fullest," his father said. "He was loved by his father and countless friends very much."
