K-1 tickets on sale
Tickets for the K-1 World Grand Prix USA event April 28th at the Blaisdell Arena went on sale yesterday.
Holland's Badr Hari and Japan's Yusuke Fujimoto will fight for the inaugural K-1 heavyweight title under the standard K-1 kickboxing rules. 2004 Las Vegas Grand Prix champion Mighty Mo (28-5) and two-time World Grand Prix champion Remy Bonjasky (58-13) of the Netherlands will also compete on the card.
Tickets ranging from $40 to $500 are available at ticketmaster.com and all Times Supermarket stores.
Aztecs knock off Rainbow Warriors
The Hawaii men's tennis team lost for the third time in four days, falling to No. 69 San Diego State 6-1 yesterday in the 2007 Aloha Invitational at the UH Tennis Complex.
Hawaii took two of three doubles matches to claim one point, but were swept in all six singles matches.
The Rainbow Warriors will finish the tournament tomorrow with a match against No. 38 California at 10 a.m.
» The Hawaii Pacific men's and women's tennis teams each earned two victories yesterday, defeating both Montana State Billings and the Metropolitan State College of Denver.
The 16th-ranked women's team didn't lose a single game, winning both matches 9-0 while the men's team knocked off Montana State Billings 5-1 before shutting out Metropolitan State College of Denver 9-0.
