Strong finish brings win to Roosevelt
Diana Zane converted seven of eight free throws in the fourth quarter and No. 6 Roosevelt trailed by as many as seven in the second half before coming back to knock off Farrington 52-45 last night at Roosevelt.
Zane finished with 13 points and Tiana Sugui and Iwalani Rodrigues added 11 for the Rough Riders (2-0), who outscored the Governors 21-10 in the final period.
Valerie Lesu was the lone player in double figures with 11 points for Farrington (1-2).

Taeja Afalava scored 16 points and LeNora Nauahi added 13 as the Red Raiders overcame a game-high 23 points from Na Menehune's Jamie Ronolo to pull out the victory in overtime.
Ronolo finished 15-for-18 from the free-throw line, but scored just five points in the second half. Brittney Fesolai scored five of her nine points for Kahuku in the overtime period, in which the Red Raiders outscored Na Menehune 15-9 to win their third-straight game.

Desiree Luis scored a team-high 11 points and converted six of 10 free throws in the fourth quarter as the Chargers outscored the Mules by 11 points in the final 8 minutes to come from behind for the win.
Brittaney Stafford scored 10 points for Leilehua, which outscored Pearl City 15-8 in the third quarter to take a 22-19 lead. However, the Mules went cold in the fourth quarter and only managed five points in the final period.
