No. 1 Warriors win with balanced attack
Lindsey Wong and Alexis Furtado led 11 Warriors who scored with nine points apiece as top-ranked Kamehameha bounced back from Tuesday's season-opening loss to No. 2 Iolani with a 55-34 victory over Maryknoll last night at Kekuhaupi'o Gym.
Furtado scored all her points on three 3-pointers for the Warriors (1-1), who led 19-7 after the first quarter.
Senior Nicole Fu scored a game-high 12 points for Maryknoll (0-2), which trailed by 10 at halftime before Kamehameha outscored the Spartans 28-17 in the second half.
