Saint Louis School President Walter S. Kirimitsu (Class of '58), left, congratulated 2007 honorees Albert S.C. Chong ('44), Raymond T. Wong ('50) and Dr. Lawrence K.W. Tseu ('51) at the Saint Louis School Gallery of Distinguished Achievers Banquet at the Sheraton Waikiki on Friday. Wong, a former educator, received the Brother Edward Gomez Faculty and Staff Award. Chong and Tseu were inducted into GODA. The three honorees entertained the crowd with stories about life as Saint Louis students in the 1940s and spoke eloquently of the importance of maintaining high academic standards. CLICK FOR LARGE

Kumu hula Manu Boyd, leader and co-founder of Ho'okena, stepped forward for a solo hula as the group entertained before dinner. Boyd told the crowd that although he graduated from "the school on the other hill" (Kamehameha), he was honored to be dubbed an honorary Crusader. CLICK FOR LARGE

2007 inductee Dr. Lawrence K.W. Tseu ('51), center, was escorted into the ballroom by his son, Dr. Andrew Tseu ('89), and his grandson, Matthew Tseu ('12).
